Children leave the church service at the second hymn for an open session Sunday School with a varied program of Bible lessons, singing, prayers, crafts, videos and dramatizations. Ages 3 to 14. Sunday School continues through the summer.

A Sunday School Christmas party is held each year for the children and their families.

Coming Events

The Synod of the Diocese of Eastern Canada
will convene at St George's, Hamilton, on Saturday 18 September.

Ordinations
God willing, Bishop David Hicks will ordain:
Robert Lyon to the order of Deacon at 3:00 pm on Saturday 18 September, and
Rev Dr H. John Ferns to the order of Presbyter at 10:30 am on Sunday 19 September.

Open Doors, Community BBQ, and Music Fest
On Saturday 25 September, the churches of West Hamilton invite Mac students
and the residents of West Hamilton to explore our churches between 2 and 4 pm
and to a free community barbeque at St George's from 5 to 7 pm. Participating
churches include Apostolic Holiness, Binkley United, Canadian Martyrs, Grace
Lutheran, Hamilton Mennonite, the Quakers, St George's, and Westside Baptist.
Music by the Apostolic Holiness Gospel Choir and the Mennonites' "Hope Rising".

St George and the Dragon
The John Laing Singers will perform the operetta of the St George legend
- libretto by Gillian Ferns - at St George's Church, Guelph, 16 October,
and at St George's Church, St Catharine's, 7 November.
